Timeline

Lensmaster’s Timeline is an audiovisual tool for building and synchronizing your animation. It has two main components:

  • Animation Timeline: The Animation Timeline displays the simplified motion sequences for the Robot, FIZ, track, and all connected external axes and stepper motors, including those linked via the Camerabotics Action Server. It provides a clear view of all movements over time.

  • Audio Timeline: The Audio Timeline allows you to add, edit, and synchronize audio tracks with your animation. You can arrange audio clips across multiple tracks to align them with specific moments in your animation.

Common Timeline Features

The Animation Timeline and Audio Timeline share common features that make it easy to synchronize audio with animation and efficiently edit both:

Cursor

The cursor is a yellow vertical line that marks the current timestamp in the animation. It stays synchronized between the Animation Timeline and the Audio Timeline.

Moving The Cursor

  • Click and drag the cursor directly on the timeline.

  • Use the left and right arrow keys on the keyboard to move the cursor one frame at a time for precise adjustments.

  • Click the middle mouse button on the timeline to instantly move the cursor to that position.
