The Animations List

On the left side of the Timeline, you'll find a list of animations in your active Lensmaster project.

Animation Types

Lensmaster supports four different animation types that can be keyframed alone or in groups of animations.

Robot / Track / Turntable

Animation for the robot's X, Y, Z, Yaw, Pitch, Roll, Track and Turntable axes.

FIZ

Animation for the Focus, Iris and Zoom axes.

Dynamic Target

Animation for a dynamic target position (X, Y, Z, Yaw, Pitch and Roll).

Motor Animation

Animation for motor's position or velocity axes. The supported motor animations are:

  • Stepper Motor Velocity

  • Stepper Motor Position

  • RC Servo Position

Adding Animations to your Project

Most animation types are handled automatically by Lensmaster, including the robot, FIZ, and Dynamic target animations, which are created and updated as needed.

However, for other axes, specifically those from the Camerabotics Action Server, you will need to add them manually.

Manually Adding External Axis

  1. Right-click the animation list

  2. Hover over Add External Axis Animation, and select the type of external axis you want to add. The available types are explained in this article.

  3. The Motor Position Animations Properties window will appear. For more details on this step, please refer to this article.
