Robot Controls Overview
Lensmaster supports three different options for jogging the robot in real-time directly from its windows interface. The various modes of controls are known as Direct Controls, Cartesian Controls and Joint-based controls.
3-Jogging Modes
In Direct Controls, also known as Tool Frame Controls, users manipulate the camera as if they were physically inside it, akin to driving a vehicle with the camera's lens acting as their windshield. In Cartesian Frame, the camera moves along the global XYZ axes parallel to the room, and in Joints Frame, the user controls each motor separately.
- Direct Controls
Lensmaster moves the camera along its own frame and heading. For example, pressing Forward moves the camera in the direction of the lens.
- Cartesian Controls
Lensmater moves the camera in the global cartesian directions x, y, z and the global rotation directions yaw, pitch and roll.
- Joint-based Controls
Lensmaster moves the robot joints individually from A1 to A6.
