Kuka Robots
Lensmaster is compatible will all Kuka Robots using KRC4 or KRC5 family controllers.
Utilized Kuka Option Packages
For Lensmaster to connect and be able to control your robot you will need to have these option packages installed:
- RSI (Required)
RSI or the Robot Sensor Interface enables Lensmaster to control your robot in real-time. This is used when jogging or playing back animations in RSI mode.
- Ready2_Animate_Pro (Highly recommended)
Ready2_Animate_Basic and Ready2_Animate_Pro allow the transfer and playback of path tables on your robot. This allows Lensmaster to send to the robot your animation prior to playback ensuring perfect repeatability between passes.
- Load Data Determination (Recommended)
This option package allows the robot to estimate the mass and dynamic properties of your robot payload (in this case your camera). This enables the robot to tune its control system to the payload and minimizes vibration and shake during move playback.
Installing the Lensmaster program on your Robot
For Lensmaster to communicate with your robot, a proprietary Lensmaster program needs to be loaded on your robot.
This program is usually called either LensmasterV2_R2A.src or Lensmaster_V2_RSI.src based on your exact setup.
